All that is required for this family to be able to stay in their home is for each person who reads this to donate $1.00 (US) or more and to share this with as many people as they can. We are trying to raise enough money to allow to get a vehicle to get back to work and the money for filing for Chapter 13, Restructuring Bankruptcy, so that we can pay back our over-due mortgage over the next five years and regain our financial wellbeing

Last Resort
This is a last resort effort. We have been trying for nearly a year to find a way to keep our home. It has now come to the point of desperation and swallowing our pride and admitting, publicly, that we can't do this on our own and must turn to strangers for help.

"It's probably their own fault that they're in this terrible predicament." ARMY VETERAN, DAVID L. SMITH and TARA STANDING by the SNOWMAN (GIRL) WE MADE in the FRONT YARD of OUR HOME in March 2009. Now, we are only days away from being forced to leave our home because of having a very bad year of health problems and untold stress, physical, emotional, and now, financial. We are not looking for handouts or pity but, just help from our fellow man so that we can have a chance to get back to work and put our financial house in order so that we don't end up on the street. We have nowhere to go and no way to get there, since we had to sell our car and our pickup last August to help us stay in our home this long.
